Anne Bartlett Covell has served many years as a volunteer. She is currently president of the City Gardens Club of New York City, a social services organization that focuses on educational scholarships and neighborhood garden grants in all five boroughs. She is former president of the Cosmopolitan Club where she faced a challenging few years pre and post covid, and currently serves as vice chair of Architecture & Design Committee, managing capital project improvement for the property.
A long-term member of the New York Junior League, Anne served as Vice President of Community Projects, and was named an Honored Volunteer in 1998.
Anne’s professional career focused on real estate analytics at Cushman & Wakefield. Her team’s largest project was the demand forecast for the envisioned, and now well underway development, of the City’s rezoned Hudson Yards area in west midtown (45 blocks W 33- W 42 Streets). The study helped support the City’s $3 billion bonds that raised funds for the #7 subway extension, now completed. She has a BS in Economics and MA in Art History. She was a recipient of a National Endowment of the Arts fellowship at the Toledo Museum of Art, OH, and a National Endowment of the Humanities fellowship at Old Sturbridge Village, MA.
